What would you be willing to trade or let go of to have Fridays off?

THE HIGHER YOUR EXPENSES, THE MORE YOU HAVE TO WORK

I’m posing this question specifically to the entrepreneurs and those who have direct control over their time, but it also applies to those of you who don't yet have full control of your time at work.

One of the things I learned very quickly as an entrepreneur was that I could work as many or as few hours as I wanted to, but I had to figure out how to balance this with making a certain amount of money.

Generally, the higher my expenses were, the more I had to work.

Of course, if I had a brilliant idea or sold something huge, that was great. Some of the time you could take for yourself, pursuing a hobby, learning a new skill, or giving to charity. You could even spend some of the time getting your chores done, freeing up your weekend itself.

There's so much that changes once you start working a 4-day work week, even if you're working 10-hour days, or 40 hours per week. Admittedly, there's research that says 4-day work weeks with 10-hour days don't provide as much benefit to the employees as 4 days of 8 hours, or 32 hours per week.

In most cases, the fewer hours you're working, the less stress you’re under, and the happier you are. But it can still be beneficial even just being able to have...
